Renovations · Ontario

Kitchens and bathrooms, including the parts behind the wall.

We're a construction company, not a finishing crew. Moving a wall, relocating plumbing or opening up a galley kitchen is the same job to us as the tile that goes on afterwards.

The good renovations are the ones that change the plan, not just the surfaces.

A lot of renovation quotes are priced around leaving everything where it is, because moving a wall or a drain means a different trade and a permit. That's how you end up with a beautiful new kitchen in the same awkward layout you disliked for ten years.

We'd rather tell you what the room could be. Sometimes the answer is that the layout is fine and you only need finishes. Often it's a load-bearing wall, a relocated sink and a room that finally works.

What's included

What a renovation with us covers.

Structural changes

Load-bearing walls removed and beamed, openings widened, engineering where the inspector will want it.

Plumbing & electrical

Relocated drains and supply, new circuits, panel capacity checked before you buy an induction range.

Cabinetry & millwork

Cabinets ordered, scribed and installed properly — level, plumb, and sitting on a floor that's been checked first.

Tile & stone

Backsplashes, slab surrounds and shower systems waterproofed to spec, not just to the tile line.

Lighting

Recessed, under-cabinet and feature lighting laid out for how the room is actually used.

Dust & disruption

Containment, floor protection and a sequence that keeps you with a working kitchen or bathroom as long as possible.

Questions we get

What people ask about renovations.

Can we stay in the house?

Usually yes. We sequence the work so you keep a working kitchen or bathroom for as long as possible, and we seal off the areas we're in.

How long is a kitchen?

Typically several weeks once demolition starts, and cabinet lead times often set the schedule rather than the labour. We order early for that reason.

Do I need a permit for a kitchen?

Finishes alone, usually not. Moving a load-bearing wall, relocating plumbing or adding circuits, yes. We'll tell you which category you're in at the site visit.

Can you work with my designer?

Yes. If you don't have one, we can bring in design help or work straight from your own selections.
